About

A network engineer your IT team can call.

YOUR IT Facilitator is based in Redding, California, and works with IT teams across the region and remotely.

Who we are

YOUR IT Facilitator was founded by Peter Van De Koolwyk to give in-house IT departments access to senior network engineering without adding headcount. The work is hands-on: SD-WAN, firewalls, switching, voice, monitoring, and the tough escalations other teams couldn’t solve.

Life safety systems are a particular passion. Peter has hands-on Singlewire InformaCast experience since 2009, focused on design, deployment, and support. That work covers cloud and on-premises InformaCast, 911 call alerting with caller location, panic and duress buttons and the mobile app, desktop and collaboration tool alerts, network speakers and paging gateways, door access and lockdown, camera, fire panel, and severe-weather integrations, and Visitor Aware visitor screening, along with the multicast and voice network work that makes sure alerts actually arrive. When a message has to reach every room right now, the details matter, so they get tested and documented.

How we operate

  • Your team stays in charge. We work inside your processes, your change control, and your tools.
  • Straight answers. If something is a bad idea, or not something we do, we say so.
  • Nothing hidden. Configurations, credentials, and documentation stay with you. No lock-in.
  • Evidence first. Captures, logs, and counters before conclusions.

Where we work

Remote support anywhere. On-site work in Northern California, and further when a project calls for it.

Got a problem your team has been chasing for weeks?

Microbursts, one-way audio, a tunnel that drops every afternoon, a firewall nobody wants to touch. Send us the details and an engineer will get back to you.
